The Nevada Humane Society's Reno adoption lobby is now closed on Mondays.Â
The change starts Monday, July 6.
The organization's new Reno adoption hours are now Tuesday–Sunday, 11 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
The shelter says this is due to Monday historically seeing the lowest adoption activity.
They'll instead now use Mondays for other purposes, like staff training, cleaning and animal care.
"Thank you for your understanding as we continue providing the best possible care for pets in our community!," NHS says.
