The Nevada State Police, in partnership with eight other regional law enforcement agencies, recently finished up an impaired driving campaign.
The campaign, which took place from 5:00 p.m. Saturday, November 30 until 6:00 a.m. Sunday, December 1, was a way for the organization to honor the one year end-of-watch for two fallen NSP members.
During the campaign - which was run statewide - the agencies performed a combined total of 540 vehicle stops and issued 255 citations.
In addition, 13 other arrests were carried out during the campaign, and 32 arrests specifically for DUI.
Participating agencies included The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Division, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, City of Las Vegas Marshals, Clark County School District Police, North Las Vegas Police Department, Boulder City Police Department, Reno Police Department, Washoe County Sheriff's Office and the Carson City Sheriff's Office.
