Nevada's Summerlin South Little League team is now back home after losing in the championship game to Chinese Taipei.
Nevada won the U.S. Little League World Series championship on Saturday, but then lost the next day, 7-2.
Nevada beat Connecticut in the semi-final 8-2. Meanwhile, Chinese Taipei beat Aruba 1-0 in the international semifinal.
The game marked the team's first appearance in a title match, where they fell in a shutout fashion, 7-0.
The last international team to win the tournament was Japan in 2017.
A parade celebrating Summerlin South’s success in the tournament as U.S. champions will happen Wednesday night in Summerlin.
