One person has died after being hit by a car on Mill Street near Rock Boulevard in Reno, according to officials.
Around 7:00 p.m. Saturday night, crews with Reno Police Department, Reno Fire Department and REMSA responded to a report of a crash involving a pedestrian.
The pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries and was brought to a local hospital. The pedestrian succumbed to their injuries shortly after arriving.
The driver involved in the crash remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
The identity of the pedestrian is being withheld until proper notifications can be made to the family.
Officials say that speed and impairment do not appear to be factors in the crash.
