Police activity has shut down portions of I-80 near Gold Ranch.
Nevada Highway Patrol says one lane of travel is open on I-80 west at Mogul Road, while I-80 eastbound - all lanes remain closed at Boomtown Garson Road.
There is no active threat to public safety.
NDOT's website says the closure is related to a shooting, but state troopers haven't told us what exactly happened, only that they do not think there's a threat to public safety.
