A 60-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a car in Reno early Sunday morning.
Police say the incident happened just before 5 a.m. near the intersection of Moana Blvd. and Kietzke Lane.
Police say the initial investigation shows that the pedestrian was crossing Moana at Kietzke with a walk signal, and had not fully crossed the intersection, when the light turned green and he was hit by the car.
Police say the driver remained on scene and is cooperating.
The unidentified pedestrian suffered major trauma and life-threatening injuries.
The Reno Police Department M.A.I.T. (Major Accident Investigation Team) is handling the investigation.
