The City of Reno has opened registration for organizations interested in participating in the upcoming Veterans Day Parade, set to take place in downtown Reno on Tuesday, November 11.

Applications must be submitted by completing a Veterans Day Sign-Up Form no later than October 11.

Participation is not guaranteed, as the City reserves the right to deny applications. Late entries will not be accepted.

This year’s parade will begin at 11:11 a.m. and will honor veterans and active-duty service members across all branches of the military. The theme is “Service to Our Nation,” recognizing the dedication and sacrifice of those who have served.

Staging for the parade will be held from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at 76 Court Street in Reno.

Partisan groups, including political parties and candidates, are allowed to participate, but their entries must remain neutral in tone and adhere to the parade’s theme. Political entries may not include any negative or derogatory messaging about candidates, issues, or political parties.

Questions about participation should be directed to Rachel Macintyre at macintyrer@reno.gov
