New renderings have been released for a new mixed-use development called "Revival" at the old Harrah's casino site in downtown Reno.

Madison Capital Group says it became the majority owner, manager, and developer of the site on February 1.

“We are excited to kick off Revival, a transformative project that honors the rich history of the Harrah’s property while looking toward the future,” said Ryan Hanks, Founder and CEO of Madison Capital Group.

The group's phased development show three separate towers between Virginia and Lake Streets and will include spaces like 300 apartments, corporate housing and office spaces. It also says that restaurant and grocery spaces will be integrated into a ground level outdoor plaza, which The George will eventually be part of.

Tommy Ahlquist, President and CEO of Ahlquist, a partner in the development, added: "The former Harrah’s property holds tremendous potential to become a central hub to the downtown corridor. We’ve been working tirelessly on this project and are excited to continue as the co-developer, operations manager, and property manager for Revival."

The site, formerly the Reno City Center project, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2024 which was later dismissed last month.
