The Reno Fire Department had a busy Tuesday night, responding to two fires within a half hour of each other.
The first fire started at a home on Belli Drive near Veterans Memorial Hospital just after 7 p.m.
A spokesperson for the Reno Fire Department said that fire was contained to a balcony and was started by a cigarette.
A second fire, called out roughly a half hour later according to the RPD spokesperson, was located near Greater Nevada Field in the parking lot of Catholic Charities.
That fire was a brush fire and was quickly extinguished.
