Reno firefighters responded to a home fire in Midtown on Tuesday evening.

It happened on Holcomb Avenue just after 6:20 p.m., according to a spokesperson for the Reno Fire Department.

A passerby saw the flames and called to report the blaze.

35 personnel responded to the fire, which was put out less than 15 minutes after firefighters got the call about the blaze.

Tenants of the home were not there when the fire broke out, but RFD contacted the landlord, who reached out to the tenants.

The tenants will be displaced due to the fire. The Red Cross will provide help.

Nobody was injured in the fire, and the cause is under investigation.
