A Reno man will spend more than 12 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to owning a gun as a convicted felon.
A U.S. District Court Judge in Indiana sentenced 31-year-old Joseph R. Quinones to 150 months in prison followed by two years of supervised release.
Authorities say in November 2023, Fort Wayne police responded to a fast-food restaurant where they found an angry Quinones who showed a gun and threatened employees after he couldn't order lunch during breakfast service.
They say he was later arrested with the gun near the undisclosed restaurant.
Since Quinones has a prior felony conviction, he is barred from owning a gun.
