Reno Police are on the scene of a fatal shooting in northeast Reno on Wednesday evening.
It happened in the area of Oliver Avenue and Montello Street around 4:30 p.m.
Officers arrived to find one shooting victim. That person died from their injuries, according to a spokesperson for the RPD.
Police are investigating the shooting as a homicide, and the investigation is ongoing.
People are asked to expect closures in the area for several hours and to avoid the area while the investigation is underway.
There is no active threat to the public.
