A traffic stop in Reno led to the arrest of a 42-year-old man and the seizure of large quantities of illicit drugs and three illegally possessed guns.

According to the Washoe County Sheriff's Office in an online post, the arrest of Joshua Robles came during an ongoing investigation into the sale and distribution of illicit drugs. Northern Nevada Drug Task Force detectives, assisted by members of the Washoe County Sheriff's Office K9 Unit and Regional Narcotics Unit detectives, made the arrest.

Robles was taken to the Washoe County Detention Facility and booked on multiple felony charges. Those include trafficking controlled substances, possessing controlled substances with intent to sell, selling or transporting a controlled substance, marijuana trafficking, drug paraphernalia-related charges, and possession of multiple firearms by a prohibited person.

Detectives seized approximately 2.5 pounds of cocaine, 4.5 pounds of psilocybin, 560 pounds of THC concentrate cartridges, 19.5 pounds of THC concentrate, and 68 pounds of THC flower, and the three illegally possessed guns during the investigation.

The Northern Nevada Drug Task Force includes Washoe County Sheriff's Office detectives, as well as special agents and task force officers from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration's Reno Resident Office. The task force investigates and works to dismantle drug trafficking operations throughout the region.
