As of today, the Renown Pharmacy off of Pringle Way will stay open 24 hours a day.
Renown Health says they are excited to step up to fill the communities need, and it will be easier to serve people that come to their pharmacy.
"Since the 24-hour Walgreens closed, it was really a struggle when we did have those medication needs after hours, we had to create a system within the emergency department, and we had limited amounts of medications to offer, now we can offer the full services of the pharmacy day or night," said Adam Porath, Vice President of pharmacy services.
The 24-hour pharmacy can be accessed by patients that are post-discharge from any area of the Renown hospital along with anyone in the community who needs their pharmaceutical prescription needs met.
If you want to transfer prescriptions to the 24-hour pharmacy, Renown Health says you can easily do so by coming in person or calling an expert to help you.
