The Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County has begun work to improve traffic flow and safety at the intersection of Vista Boulevard and Disc Drive/
This is part of an Improvements Project.
Plans include adding a dedicated right-turn lane from southbound Vista Boulevard to westbound Disc Drive, extending the left-turn lanes from eastbound Disc Drive to northbound Vista Boulevard, and creating a new dedicated left-turn lane from westbound Disc Drive to southbound Vista Boulevard.
Drivers can expect minor delays and detours on Disc Drive and Vista Boulevard during the project, with intermittent lane closures.
“This project is a critical step in improving the flow of traffic and overall safety of this intersection,” RTC Project Manager Alex Wolfson said.
