The Small Business Administration is investigating the Susanville Indian Rancheria in connection with alleged fraud connected to government contracts.
On social media this week, SBA Secretary Kelly Loeffler said the investigation involves ATI Government Solutions which Susanville Indian Rancheria partly owns and the 8(a) business development program.
She said they've uncovered billions of dollars in federal contracts run through shell companies.
In a statement the Indian Rancheria Tribal Chairman said:
"The tribe is committed to fully cooperating with the SBA and providing any and all information necessary to enable a thorough review."
