The Elko County Planning and Zoning Department wants to make the public aware of a scam involving fraudulent invoices.
The invoices are sent to residents requesting payments to the county, which the zoning department doesn't do.
The invoices appear official and include an email address similar to a legitimate address.
The planning and zoning department says you should beware any email that come from a "usa.com" domain.
