Spanish Springs High School has resumed normal operations after a lockdown alarm was mistakenly triggered.
The Washoe County School District posted the initial announcement on its website at 9:23 a.m. on Thursday.Â
The lockdown was lifted just before 10 a.m.
In a message to families, Spanish Springs High School Principal Sean Hall said the alarm went off due to a technical error, and there was no emergency at the school.
The school is investigating why the alarm went off.
