A dog named Potato has been reunited with its owner thanks to the efforts of Sparks firefighters.
Firefighters used a microchip reader to find and contact Potato's owner and help the pup get back home, according to a post on the Sparks Firefighters Facebook page.
Firefighters remind people that if they ever find a lost pet, every Sparks Fire Station has a pet microchip reader, and firefighters would be happy to scan the pet and try to reunite them with their family.
