Secret Witness is now offering a $500 reward for any information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with eluding of Police Officers in Sparks.

The Sparks Police Department asks for the public's help identifying a truck and driver who eluded them early Tuesday morning.Â
Sparks Police say that on Tuesday, December 31, at around 6:25 a.m., they were dispatched to the area of North McCarran Boulevard and Pyramid Way on the report of a suspicious man driving a silver Dodge truck, as seen in the pictures below.
Police say they arrived in the area, found the truck on Pyramid Way, and used their lights and sirens to attempt to make a traffic stop.
They say the driver of the truck took off from police at a high rate of speed driving erratically and was unable to stay within the lane, police stopped their chase of the truck due to concerns of public safety.Â
Police believe that other drivers might have witnessed this incident. They are asking for any witnesses to the incident or anyone with information related to the crime, identification of the driver, or the truck to contact the Sparks Police Department at (775) 353-2231 or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900.Â
