Storey County Sheriff's Office is looking for witnesses after a DUI traffic stop in the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center.Â
In a post on Facebook, the sheriff's office says it started Wednesday when a deputy attempted to make a traffic stop on a suspected DUI driver on USA Parkway.Â
The driver did not stop, and deputies say he began to drive recklessly at a high rate of speed.Â
Deputies eventually stopped the driver on Britain Drive in the parking lot of a business. When the driver was taken out of the car, he told deputies that he had swallowed 6 to 8 grams of Fentanyl.
The driver, 28-year-old Blaze Thomas was taken to a hospital for treatment.Â
He will be booked into the Storey County Detention Facility on multiple charges once he is medically cleared.Â
