Around 8:15 p.m. on Saturday June 14th, the Sparks Police Department responded to Glendale Avenue and 18th Street for reports of a fight involving multiple people.

They say one of the victims was stabbed during the fight.

Officers found the suspect who matched the description given by witnesses on scene. When they tried to stop him, he ran away but he was later arrested.

The suspect who allegedly stabbed a person during the fight was identified as 29-year-old Travis Walters.

The victim is currently being treated for their injuries at the hospital. A second victim was treated on scene for non-life-threatening injuries.

After investigating, police arrested three suspects who were all booked into the Washoe County Detention Facility.

Travis Walters:

  • Robbery with the use of a deadly weapon
  • Battery with a deadly weapon
  • Obstructing and resisting with the use of a deadly weapon

32-year-old Christopher Walters:

  • Robbery

36-year-old Crystal Walters:

  • Robbery
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
