Three people died in a rollover crash between a pick-up truck and a semi on U.S. 95 in Esmeralda County south of Goldfield on Saturday morning.
It happened on August 23 around 6:15 a.m., according to a release from the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Division.
An investigation determined that a black Ford F-150 pick-up truck was heading north on U.S. 95 while a semi-truck was heading south.
For unknown reasons, the Ford crossed over the centerline into the path of the semi
The left front of the Ford hit the left front of the semi, causing the Ford to overturn and catch fire.
The driver and two passengers in the Ford were pronounced dead at the scene.
The victims have yet to be identified.
The Nevada Highway Patrol Traffic Homicide Unit continues to investigate the crash.
