Elko Police are investigating thefts at Elko Cemetery. They say someone removed personal items from gravesites on Sunday, June 14.

Since the initial police response, police have opened an ongoing investigation to determine the full extent of the incident and any associated criminal charges. 

As part of this investigation, anyone who believes property belonging to their loved ones was damaged, removed, or stolen are encouraged to file an official police report.

Reports may be filed in person or online.  

While several reports have already been taken, additional reports are anticipated as more families come forward.
