In the spirit of the holiday season, organizers at Truckee Meadows Community College have come together to add something special to the Dandini Campus.
The college has unveiled their newly-installed "Peace Pole" - meant to be a symbol of unity and hope for the community.
TMCC partnered with Rotary District 5190 to get the pole installed.
The pole features the message "May peace prevail on earth" in eight different languages, including Braille for the sight-impaired.
To see the pole in person, you can find it at the TMCC Dandini Campus, located at 7000 Dandini Boulevard in Reno.
