Touch-the-Truck events organized by Firehouse Subs give families the chance to experience firetrucks up close in Reno.
Guests will be able to meet fire officials who operate the firetrucks on October 4 through October 5.
According to Firehouse Subs, the NFPA and the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation will give kids and families co-branded fire safety materials featuring Sparky the Fire Dog.
People will also have the opportunity to learn about fire safety from local first responders.
Firehouse Subs also says this event celebrates in coordination with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Fire Prevention Week.
