Storey County lab

Two men face several charges after Storey County deputies find suspected drugs and even a lab set inside their car near Lockwood Monday morning.

Deputies say after they pulled over a car with expired registration, that's when the officer saw a glass pipe and tin foil with burned marks and decided to investigate further.

During the search, deputies say they found illegal drugs, additional drug paraphernalia and the lab kit in the trunk. Specialty glassware, tubing, chemical materials and butane heat sources were also allegedly found which prompted the Washoe County Consolidated Bomb Squad and the Consolidated Law Enforcement All-Hazards Response Team to respond.

Once the investigation was done, deputies say both men denied ownership of the items.
