Two people were arrested on Monday, suspected in the 2023 murder of a man in Minden.
42-year-old Paul Adam Mulkey of Carson City was found dead on Stephanie Way in Minden in August of last year according to a release from the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
An autopsy determined that Mulkey had been murdered.
48-year-old Larry Allen Arnold and 42-year-old Melissa Nicole Malmstedt (also known as Melissa Clack) were identified as suspects by investigators.
Both suspects were arrested on Monday, December 30.
Arnold was arrested in Towner, North Dakota and booked into the Heart of America Correctional & Treatment Center on a no bail warrant from the East Fork Justice Court.
He is charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
Malmstedt was arrested at her home in Minden by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and booked into the Minden Jail Facility on a no bail warrant.
She is also charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
