Drivers traveling between Fallon and Interstate 80 this weekend will need to find another route as U.S. 95 closes for railroad work.
Union Pacific Railroad will close U.S. 95 between I-80 and Tarzyn Road north of Fallon from 7 p.m. Oct. 3 until noon Oct. 4 while crews replace a rail crossing.
That means through traffic will not be able to travel between Fallon and I-80 during the closure.
Drivers and community members are being asked to plan ahead and use alternate routes, including U.S. 50 and I-80.
The railroad's work schedule is subject to change.
