Uline is opening the year in Reno by inviting job seekers inside to see where the company is headed next, with its first hiring event.
The event is set for Thursday, January 29, as the distributor continues to expand its local footprint.
The hiring event runs from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at 8800 Military Road in Reno and is aimed at filling day and night shift warehouse roles to support continued growth following a year of major hiring, expansion and industry recognition.
Uline, a distributor of shipping, industrial and packaging materials, recently received the 2026 Distributors Deliver Award from the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors. The honor recognizes leadership across the distribution industry for operations, workforce development and community impact.
Uline says that recognition followed a year of significant investment. In 2025, the company added about 1,200 new team members and expanded its North American operations by nearly 1.5 million square feet to meet rising customer demand.
The company says those moves reflect a long-term growth strategy and a focus on creating quality jobs in Reno and beyond.
Retention has been a key part of that approach. Employees average seven years with the company, supported by low turnover and a workplace culture centered on stability, advancement and employee well-being. Uline points to competitive wages and comprehensive benefits as part of what has helped it keep workers, an effort that also earned the company the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada Award in 2025.
“We’re entering the year with a clear focus on welcoming talented individuals who want to build their future with us,” said Brian Wayer, Branch Manager. “Our continued expansion and low turnover speak to the environment we’ve built - one where employees feel supported, valued and confident in their future. We’re proud to offer a place where people can build successful, long-term careers.”
Open positions include warehouse associate roles on both day and night shifts.
Day shift pay starts from $26 to $32 per hour, while night shift pay starts from $28 to $34 per hour.
