Nevada State Police are investigating a deadly crash on Mt. Rose Highway Tuesday morning.

It happened just after 6 a.m. near Wedge Parkway and involved two cars - a 2014 Infiniti QX80 and a 2010 Honda Accord.

Nevada State Police say the Accord drove into oncoming traffic and hit the SUV.

"One driver is confirmed deceased at this time, the other driver sustained suspected minor injuries," says Sgt. Chris Brown, Nevada Highway Patrol.
