DECEMBER 26 UPDATE:
The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim of a shooting that happened near the intersection of Kietzke Lane and Gentry Way in Reno on December 20.
31-year-old Robert G. Beltran was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Renown Regional Medical Center according to a release from the Medical Examiner's Office.
His death has been ruled a homicide by multiple gunshot wounds.
Beltran is believed to have been homeless.
The Reno Police Department is continuing to investigate this case.
DECEMBER 23 UPDATE:
A 22-year-old man faces a murder charge in connection with a deadly shooting on Kietzke Lane late Friday afternoon.
Reno Police say they've arrested Colby Alvarez in connection with the death of a 31-year-old man, who later died at a hospital.
The shooting happened just after 4:15 p.m. near Gentry Way.Â
The victim's name hasn't been released.Â
The investigation remains ongoing.Â

A person has been taken to the hospital after suffering several gunshot wounds in Reno on Friday evening.
Around 4:20 p.m. on Friday officers with the Reno Police Department responded to the area of Kietzke Lane and Gentry Way.
They found a single gunshot victim who was taken to the hospital.
This is an ongoing investigation, and people are asked to avoid the area.
