The Washoe County School District Board of Trustees is meeting on Tuesday to discuss multiple things.
Among the items to be discussed are funding, the upcoming legislative session, and the progress of the district's strategic plan.
The board will also be discussing the possibility of repurposing the campuses of Pine Middle School and Traner Middle School into a pre-k through eighth-grade or a pre-k through fifth-grade facility.
If this is approved board members would discuss the temporary closure of Pine Middle School at the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year for construction.
