The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Human Exploitation and Recovery Operations (H.E.R.O.) Team conducted a targeted operation on June 17 to combat human trafficking.
The operation resulted in the recovery of two victims and the arrest of three people.
Authorities reported four felony charges, including one charge of ex-felon in possession of a firearm, one charge of possession of a stolen firearm, one charge of possession of a controlled substance, and one charge of possession of a credit card without the owner's consent.
Additionally, two misdemeanor charges were filed, one for possession of drug paraphernalia and one for obstructing and resisting.
Deputies also issued two citations and recovered one stolen firearm.
One of the people arrested was identified as Jordan Robinson, a convicted sex offender with a prior conviction for human trafficking.
“I am incredibly proud of the work of our H.E.R.O. Team,” Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam said. “Human sex trafficking is a heinous crime and we will not stop in our unwavering commitment to protect our community and bring hope and help to those in need.”
