Deputies from the Washoe County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) are embracing the "No Shave" campaign to support dozens of local nonprofit recipients.
The campaign will last from October to January into the new year.
According to WCSO, since the start, the “No Shave” Campaign has raised over $200,000 for many recipients.
Deputies and staff will also wear military and sportswear for the cause.
WCSO says, the next time you see a deputy with a beard or ponytail or a civilian rocking a military or sports shirt or jeans, give them a high five for supporting a great cause.
