Update (2/1/2025, 10:51 p.m.):
More details have been released about the heavy police presence in Cold Springs tonight.
Early this morning, the Washoe County Sheriff's Office responded to a call regarding possible drug activity at Dyal Court in Cold Springs.
An investigation was started, and a search warrant was granted to search the house in question.
On Saturday night, a collaboration of SWAT, the Consolidated Bomb Squad, the Search and Rescue Incident Management Team and the Northern Nevada Drug Task Force executed the search warrant.
Officials believe there is no threat to public safety, or any danger to the community. They do continue to ask that the public stay clear of the area until all officials have finished their work.

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office is requesting that the public stay out of the Cold Springs area tonight.
In a post on X, WCSO said that people should stay out of the area due to law enforcement activity.
