The Washoe County Sheriff's Office is asking for your help finding a sexual assault suspect who has gone missing.
25-year old Arsh Bhardwaj has been charged with sexually assaulting a minor under 14, which can potentially carry a 35-year-to-life sentence.
After Bhardwaj's hearing, he was placed under GPS surveillance - but the system went offline on Friday, June 13 around 5:45 p.m.
Since then, Bhardwaj has missed a meeting with his attorney and isn't returning phone calls from authorities.
Officials also say that Bhardwaj and his vehicle have not recently been seen at his home or his place of work. Because of this, an arrest warrant has been issued for Bhardwaj.
Police are asking the public to keep an eye out for a silver Mercedes 4-door sedan with the Nevada license plate 6317D1, which is registered to Bhardwaj.
A $500 reward is being offered by Secret Witness for information that results in the arrest and prosecution of Arsh Bhardwaj, who is wanted by the Washoe County Sheriff's Office for sexual assault of a child warrant.
If you have any information regarding Bhardwaj or his whereabouts, contact the Washoe County Sheriff's Office at (775) 785-9276.
