Prospective truckers in the area looking to earn their Commercial Driver's Licenses now have one more option available to them.
Western Nevada College has announced that its CDL program is Nevada DMV-approved as an official third-party testing location.
This is a huge benefit for students training for their CDL exam at the college, as they can now test for the license on campus and aren't required to go to a DMV for the test.
The approval covers both the Fallon and Carson City campuses - students at those locations are now eligible to take the CDL test as part of their truck driving program.
The new service is being made possible through a grant from the US Department of Labor.
