A woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car in Sparks on Thursday. 

Police say she was in the crosswalk at the time of the crash, first reported just after 7 a.m. at Rock & I Street.

Police say the driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
