Sparks Police arrested 41-year-old David Dykstra just before 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 6.
This is after the police department got several calls that he had been driving erratically and causing a disturbance at a local restaurant.
After that, they got another call from someone who said they saw him blocking another person's car on the road while pointing a gun at him.
Officers found the suspect and arrested him on the following charges:
- Assault with a Deadly Weapon
- Own/Possess Firearm by Prohibited Person x2
- Possession of a Firearm Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs
- DUIÂ 2nd Alcohol/Drugs
- Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st
- Battery on a Protected Person
- Driving with a Suspended Driver's License
