Officers with the Washoe Tribe Police Department seized several ghost guns in the Carson City area and arrested the owner.
10 ghost guns in all were confiscated, and the owner is facing multiple weapons offenses, according to a post from the WTPD on Facebook.
Ghost guns are defined as functioning firearms that are privately made and lack a serial number, making them untraceable.
It is illegal to possess ghost guns within the jurisdiction of the Washoe Tribe, and also illegal to own them in Nevada and California.
The FBI and ATF were also involved in the incident.
