2 News Nevada Chief Meteorologist Mike Alger took time last Wednesday to introduce viewers to his successor, or more accurately reintroduce him.
Chris Larson has worked as a Chief Meteorologist before in the Biggest Little City at another local news station.
He moved out of the region in 2013, and his career has taken him to places like Charlotte, North Carolina and Colorado Springs before bringing him back to northern Nevada.
Larson and his wife both have ties to the area, with Larson once hosting a morning show in Lake Tahoe before working in the region as a Chief Meteorologist.
He will begin his tenure at the head of the 2 News Nevada Storm Watch Weather Team, including Angela Schilling and Jeff Martinez, on June 3rd.
