The minimum wage in Nevada has increased beginning July 1.
The new rate is $12 an hour for all employees.
This comes from Assembly Bill 456 which passed in 2019.
At the time, minimum wage in Nevada was $7.25 for employers who provided health insurance, and $8.25 for those who didn't.
Now, the rate of $12 applies to all employees making minimum wage, regardless of other benefits their employers offer.
