Israeli drone strikes on southern Lebanon on Tuesday killed eight people, including a father and his two children. This comes a day after U.S. President Donald Trump said Israel and Hezbollah agreed to dial back fighting. Israel had threatened Monday to strike Beirut’s southern suburbs, causing panic as thousands fled. Lebanese media reported Tuesday the drone strikes hit a car, killing a dentist and his children. Hezbollah fired anti-tank missiles at Israeli troops in southern Lebanon. Despite a Washington-brokered ceasefire in April, exchanges continue. Talks between Israel and Lebanon are scheduled in Washington to seek a full ceasefire.
