U.S. futures and Asian shares are lower after a retreat on Wall Street. Oil prices fell more than $2 a barrel and gold and silver advanced after plunging on Friday. South Korea's benchmark, the Kospi, sank 4% on revived worries over a possible bubble in the artificial intelligence boom. On Friday, the S&P 500 dropped 0.4% and the Dow industrials lost 0.4%. The Nasdaq composite lost 0.9%. The value of the U.S. dollar rallied but only after swiveling a couple times. Gold’s price dropped 11%, and silver plummeted more than 30% as tremendous rallies for both metals froze. Crude prices dropped after Trump said Iran was “Seriously talking to us,” easing worries over potential supply disruptions.
