A problem with the 'power steering assist' feature has prompted Tesla to recall more than 376,000 cars.

The issue can occur when the power steering loses power when the car stops and then tries to move again, making it difficult to steer - according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

The recall affects certain 2023 Model Y and Model 3 Tesla cars.

NHTSA reports that Tesla has already addressed the issue with a free, over-the-air software update that is being pushed out to affected cars.

Anyone who owns one of the recalled cars will receive a letter in the mail letting them know about the issue after March 25th.
