President Donald Trump says he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s envoy at the White House but did not meet with Ukrainian officials who were also visiting on Thursday. Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump said he wouldn’t discuss his conversation with Kirill Dmitriev, but he suggested that some type of deal is in the works. He said: “There’s going to be an agreement, it’s going to be a big agreement and it’s going to involve more than Ukraine. The officials from Russia and Ukraine were invited to the White House by the first lady. She recently brokered a ceasefire between the warring countries in the Ukrainian village of Oleshky.
