Nearly 30 years after his death, Tupac Shakur will be front and center as a man who prosecutors say orchestrated his killing goes to trial. Duane “Keffe D” Davis has pleaded not guilty to a single count of murder for his alleged role in the death of the iconic rapper. The long-unsolved case has gripped fans. For decades, the case was cold. Then, Davis' tell-all memoir revived the investigation, and he was arrested in late 2023. Jury selection is scheduled to start Monday. The trial is scheduled for about a month. Shakur's family hopes the trial will answer key questions about the artist's death and bring justice for Shakur.
