Visitors at Six Flags near Atlanta have described watching a man being tossed from a roller coaster and falling to his death. Several others were injured in the incident Monday at Six Flags Over Georgia. Officials have not released any information about the man who died or the conditions of the others. Six Flags Entertainment Corporation says nine attractions have been closed out of an abundance of caution at six amusement parks nationwide. Authorities and Six Flags did not identify the ride associated with the man’s death, but local TV stations are showing video of passengers being evacuated from the Goliath roller coaster. Six Flags says the park and local authorities responded immediately and are fully cooperating with authorities.
