The Nevada Department of Transportation is asking the public to help highway crews clearing snow from the winter storms by staying off the roads.

In a post to their X page, NDOT says their highway crews are staggered into two separate 12-hour shifts for 24-hour snow removal.

Those crews are working to clear highways while city and county crews clear local streets and roads.

NDOT wants people to avoid driving and keep roads clear so that plows can stay on shift and more efficiently clear roads.
